A new edition of the traditional IT One Gala will take place next December 1st, 2020. Due to the current health situation, the event will be held exclusively online, with several experts sharing their expertise and discussing this year’s topic: “Recover or reinvent - How to create opportunities in times of crisis?”. As usual, it will be composed of expert keynote speeches, a (digital) networking session, and will end with the Luxembourg ICT Awards ceremony.

Local experts to focus on how to create opportunities in times of crisis

Kamel Amroune (CEO, Farvest) will officially – and virtually – welcome the participants and will hand the microphone to Carlo Thelen (Director General, Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg) for an introductory keynote speech. Abdelhay Toudma (CIO, Arendt & Medernach), who was named CIO of the Year last year, will then share his expertise and best practices. Finally, a round-table discussion entitled "Recover or reinvent - How to create opportunities in times of crisis" will then be moderated by Thomas Musiolik (CTO, Accenture).

Moreover, participants will still be able to discuss and exchange with their peers through a digital networking platform.

Luxembourg ICT Awards: who will be the winners?

Due to the current health situation, the traditional and historical gala dinner will not be organized…yet, digital participants will be able to follow the Luxembourg ICT Awards ceremony online. A grand total of 13 prizes will be distributed to reward the best local projects and initiatives, including the Extraordinary IT Support Award.
