After taking part in the Great Place To Work France & Europe ranking for seven years, Davidson Consulting wanted to focus on a subject of more general interest. The team set itself a new challenge: to become the first French company (with +2,000 employees) and the only technology and management consultancy to become a B Corp!

B Corp is a community of enterprises which want to improve and demonstrate their positive impact by being assessed on their overall performance every 2 years. The label has now been earned by some 2,600 companies worldwide, including 50 in France. B Corp certification is managed by an NGO called B Lab. To be awarded it, companies have to achieve the minimum score of 80 points by answering a set of 200 questions covering the company's social, environmental and societal performance, but also its commitment to transparency and accountability.

For several months, the people at Davidson Consulting have stepped up their involvement with charities (Financial and skills partnership with Fondation des Femmes, donations and work with Action Against Hunger in Kasaï, project to set up a digital school in Benin) and have reduced the company's environmental footprint (Migration to 100% green energy, gradual refurbishment or acquisition of premises meeting the highest environmental standards, creation of an environment committee…).

Today, Davidson Consulting is very proud to be able to announce that it earned this certification at its first attempt, with a score of 85.1 points (average score of French companies audited: 50). Becoming a B Corp is not an end in itself: for Davidson Consulting, earning this certification is step one in a long-term corporate project, the management is determined to make progress and want to improve in the “community”, “governance” and “environment” areas. To do that the company will be playing a very active role in the B Corp community, getting involved in discussions and taking inspiration from the best initiatives found there. This recognition by Davidson of its purpose is in keeping with the forthcoming “Loi Pacte” (, a French government bill which seeks to encourage companies to make their social and environmental roles part of their corporate mission.

B(e) the Change!
