Damovo, a leading provider of enterprise communications solutions and services, last week announced the acquisition of the voice and unified communications (UC) business of Centre de Télécommunications et Téléinformatiques Luxembourgeois (CTTL) in Luxembourg. This first acquisition by Damovo, since it was acquired by Oakley Capital earlier this year, is part of its ‘buy and build’ strategy as it looks to grow annual revenues to €200M in the next 3-5 years and become one of the largest UC providers in Europe.
CTTL is a provider of a wide range of ICT solutions and managed services to the Luxembourg market. Damovo is acquiring its voice and UC business, including more than 130 customers and the 14 employees servicing the customer base. All trading will transfer to a new company, Damovo Luxembourg S. à.r.l., which will add to Damovo’s operational presence in Europe, including Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Ireland and Damovo’s Global Services business.
Following this acquisition, Damovo has 15 international offices and delivers UC solutions in 120 countries on six continents. Its solution portfolio includes unified communications and collaboration, enterprise networks, contact centres, cloud services and global managed services. It currently manages a growing base of 2,000 customers including many of Europe’s largest enterprises and a number of Fortune Global 500 companies. Damovo holds elevated partnerships with leading global technology providers such as Cisco, Microsoft and Mitel.
Glen Williams, CEO, Damovo, said: “This is the first important step on our journey as we look to grow our footprint and scale across continental Europe. CTTL is a great fit for Damovo as it has a very strong pedigree for voice and unified communications solutions, and has an impressive customer base. It will integrate very easily with our existing businesses. “Damovo is perfectly positioned to accelerate its market share growth in Europe, and we will do this through organic growth and further strategic acquisitions. We’re very excited by the opportunities ahead.”
Joop Jansen, managing director, Damovo Benelux, said, “We’re delighted to welcome additional experienced and talented colleagues into our growing Benelux team. We will ensure that our new customers enjoy a seamless experience following this acquisition, and we look forward to providing them with an even stronger proposition and exceptional levels of service and expertise at all times. Furthermore, for our international Banking and Finance customers we will be able to fully comply with the tight regulatory conditions to manage or coservice secure IT environments.”
Vincent Lekens, CTTL, said: “We have partnered with Damovo for several years and have a very close relationship. When we learned of the growth plans for Luxembourg, as part of its strategy of becoming one Europe’s largest UC providers, we decided that the best approach for CTTL and our customers, would be to sell our telecommunications business unit to Damovo. We’re very pleased that Damovo will continue to provide the highest levels of innovation and service to all of our valued customers and stakeholders.”
